WHY LEDs?
LED technology has been around for many years and with technological advancements making them more efficient and affordable than ever before. They are quickly becoming the most popular and efficient lighting solutions in the residential and commercial world.
It’s not only the efficiency that makes LEDs a popular choice, but the versatility. LEDs come in a wide variety of tones, hues, RGB colours and are dimmable to suit the mood and increase function of your space.
Due to their compact size LEDs can be used in a variety of applications. They can be combined in bunches for a traditional bulb, used in isolation as a small device light, strung out in sequence to create a stunning strip lighting feature or placed snug into any wall or ceiling for create a flow of downlights. The possibilities are endless!
Incandescent vs LED vs CFL
Though LEDs appear to be more of an initial investment, the significant savings you make on replacement and running costs make LEDs far more cost effective in the long run.

Live brighter. Live greener.
As the world becomes more environmentally conscious it’s important that we do not overlook the positive impact LED lighting can make to our environmental footprint.
LED lights are up to 80% more efficient than traditional lighting such as fluorescent and incandescent lights. 95% of the energy in LEDs is converted into light and only 5% is wasted as heat. In comparison fluorescent lights convert 95% of energy to heat and only 5% into light!
With significantly less heat produced paired with the fact they are made without any harmful substances; LEDs don’t emit any harmful rays. Additionally, their disposal will not produce further toxic waste in the environment and with the lasting power of LEDs there is less electrical waste produced in the end! It’s a win-win.
